Montreal Impact vs. Toronto FC: Live Stream, Confirmed Lineups, and more

All the info you need to watch Toronto FC vs. Montreal Impact as they attempt to advance to the Voyageurs Cup Final.

Toronto FC vs. Montreal Impact is always a special occasion when it happens, but when the Impact were drawn against Toronto in the semifinal of the Canadian Championship, TFC fans had to get used to seeing their rivals from across the 401 a lot this season.

After getting hammered 3-0 by the New York Red Bulls, it looked like Toronto would leave their focus on their MLS campaign, as they featured a heavy reserve unit in their first leg against the Impact while their opponents fielded a full-strength lineup. Granted, they have been ravaged by injuries to Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore, and Michael Bradley is away on Copa America duty, so they didn’t have a lot of options to begin with, but on paper, the first leg looked like a total mismatch.

However, TFC’s Academy graduates came alive as both Jonathan Osorio and Jordan Hamilton hit braces to race out to a 4-0 lead. It was an outstanding night, and one that will surely instill both confidence back into the Toronto FC lineup, and bragging rights in the fanbase as they have now bested their rivals twice this season.

The Impact made sure that they wouldn’t be going anywhere though when Michael Salazar and Didier Drogba scored two crucial away goals to set up a chance to complete the comeback at Stade Saputo.

A scoreline of 2-0 or 3-1 for the home team will be enough to see them through to the Final, so Toronto FC have to play solid defensively and score an away goal to see themselves through. TFC knows a thing or two about coming back from large deficits against the Impact, so they know that this tie is far from over.

This Cup tie is important for shaping the rest of Toronto FC’s season, and what type of line-up they field may very well dictate the type of game we’ll see from them. As always, we’ve got you covered when it comes to how to viewing info, so that you won’t miss a second of the action:
