Toronto FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps: Live Stream, Confirmed Lineups, and more

All the match details you need for Toronto FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps, the first leg of the Canadian Championship Final.

The stage is set for one of the Toronto FC or Vancouver Whitecaps to lift the Voyageurs Cup at BC Place. The first leg will go a long way to determining what type of match we will see a week from today, and how good of a shape Toronto FC will be in to lift their first silverware of the season.

Vancouver will be just as motivated to come out and win this competition, especially considering they’re the defending champions, but TFC hold the advantage in terms of form. They’re coming off a clean sheet against the LA Galaxy, the MLS’ best offensive team, while the Whitecaps dropped a 2-1 contest to the New England Revolution.

In the Canadian Championship, Toronto controlled both legs against the Montreal Impact with a B-team while the Whitecaps had to overcome a 2-0 deficit to get here. Coupled with the fact that Toronto will be at home, and they’ll be heading into this tie with high spirits.

However, these two have already met at BMO Field, and the Whitecaps came away 4-3 victors on that day. That was the game that saw Jozy Altidore miss a spot kick which directly affected the outcome of the game before leaving with a hamstring injury that has kept him out since. Given that this is the first of a two-legged final, it’s hard to imagine this game being anything like that. If anything, we should expect a more tentative, and low-scoring match.

You won’t want to miss a second of the action, which is why we have you covered with all the details on how to watch the game. It will be shown on the main TSN network, but if you can’t get to a TV, they offer live streaming on both laptops and smartphones. You just have to log in with your television service provider’s account:

Here are the confirmed lineups for both clubs. This could potentially be a big opportunity for Raheem Edwards who has made the bench:

As the host of the first leg, the pressure is on us. The only acceptable results are either a win or a 0-0 draw. But winning the Voyageurs Cup will go a long way towards potentially winning the MLS Cup as well. Come on you Reds!
