With Toronto FC down a striker, we look at three possible replacements up front.

With Jozy Altidore out again with an injury, Toronto FC are in need of a striker to replace the big man’s position. No one can replace the strength he brings, but there are players who could bring in plenty more goals than the American.

With Sebastian Giovinco on the fringes of the Italian national team and no one else on the roster really capable of playing as a striker, thing’s look difficult. If this was last year, the club could rely on Luke Moore or Herculez Gomez. The striking department is thin and no one from TFC II could step right in and start an MLS match.

Let’s try our best and look at these next three players, who could be viable options for TFC as they try and fill the striker position.
