Toronto FC continues to promote talented players, aiming to have one of the best youth academies in Canada, enhancing the growth of soccer and exporting high-caliber players both to the MLS and abroad.
Five U-20 players from Toronto FC will represent Canada in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, participating in a highly competitive tournament where Canada aims to establish itself as a strong contender with its impressive youth talent.
This follows their strong performance in the Copa América, where they reached the semifinals before being eliminated by the world champion Argentina. Canada will play for third place against Uruguay on July 13th in an exciting match.

The 5 Players from TFC, TFC II, and TFC Academy
The players representing Toronto FC in the CONCACAF U-20 are Adam Pearlman (TFC), Richard Chukwu, Andrei Dumitru, Nathaniel Abraham (TFC II), and Theo Rigopoulos (TFC Academy). All these players have been developed at Toronto FC and show great potential. The squad includes three defenders, a midfielder, and a goalkeeper.
Canada's U-20 team will play their first match on July 20th against Honduras, a crucial game to assess the players and monitor the evolution of this impressive Canadian team.
