It was a very sad match for Toronto FC, which showed how they failed to impose themselves in the Canadian Championship final against Vancouver FC, ultimately resulting in a defeat that crowned Vancouver FC as champions.
This marked one of the worst matches of the season for Toronto FC, and now, with the disappointment of losing a championship, they must focus on the upcoming MLS matches, where they could also miss the playoffs if their scoring efficiency doesn’t improve.

A Fascinating Match for Toronto FC, But Not Enough
Throughout the match, we saw Toronto FC play an engaging game, demonstrating their determination to become champions in this Canadian Championship encounter. They created several scoring opportunities and showcased great football on the field, undoubtedly outplaying their opponents for the entire 90 minutes.
The match began competitively, and a crucial moment came when Toronto FC was awarded a penalty in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, Federico Bernardeschi missed the penalty, with the Vancouver FC goalkeeper making the save.
As the game progressed, Toronto FC continued to generate clear chances, totaling three missed opportunities. They had a total of 15 shots and completed an impressive 681 passes during the game.
