Debut of a young promise for Toronto FC
By Oscar Cortes
Toronto FC suffered greatly after the match against Nashville. Although the plan executed by John Herdman (who was suspended and absent from the match) had steered the game intelligently towards holding the result, the team faced numerous absences due to suspension and injury.
In the final stretch of the match, the defeat came at 2-0, with Nashville managing to break the deadlock on the scoreboard in the 81st and 91st minutes to seal their victory and edge closer to the playoff spots in the Eastern Conference, while TFC finds itself drifting further away from the top.
The rise of TFC's future prospect
What stood out in this encounter against Nashville for The Reds revolved around one of the most anticipated debuts of the season, that of young Charlie Sharp. He is the top scorer for TFC II, having scored 3 goals in 4 matches played. This promising youngster was called up to be present in the match between Toronto FC and Nashville.
However, Charlie Sharp's debut didn't go as expected in a highly challenging match, given the absences and the away status, securing a positive result was very difficult for TFC. At 22 years old, he made his MLS debut in the 76th minute, replacing Derick Etienne.

Therefore, we will continue to await seeing the true potential that Charlie Sharp possesses in the upcoming matches, where it is hoped that Herdman will continue to call up the TFC II star.
MLS Week 15 is approaching
The next match for Toronto FC will be against CF Montreal, where BMO Field will once again witness a match against a classic rival for TFC. It will be an extremely important match considering the positions both teams currently hold in the MLS.
