John Herdman speaks after Toronto's victory
By Oscar Cortes
The victory on April 20 was highly positive for The Reds. While the match was played in an exciting manner, with both clubs having several goal-scoring opportunities, it could have easily swung in favor of New England at times.
The great moment that Prince Owusu is experiencing with Toronto
Prince Owusu stood out in the game by scoring the winning goal, bringing his tally to 4 goals with Toronto, making him the team's top scorer in the MLS season. Additionally, Federico Bernardeschi, despite not being fortunate enough to convert a penalty in the second half, remained goalless this season with The Reds but was still one of the standout players of the match.
Toronto's coach expressed his thoughts after the game against New England, emphasizing Bernardeschi's performance and expressing hope that he will soon find his goal-scoring form: "If we give him time, you know a player of that quality will find the back of the net," John Herdman stated.
"“I'm absolutely gutted not seeing Fede score. Everyone wants him to score because he's been that honest with his performances.”"

The journey continues for Toronto in each of the competitions
Toronto FC's victory over the New England Revolution placed The Reds in a more than favorable position, sitting in 5th place. While several clubs are still awaiting completion of matchday 9, the ideal scenario is for The Reds to be in the Playoffs by the end of this round.
Toronto's next match will be on April 24th against County Rover at BMO Field for the Canadian Championship. Following that, their next MLS encounter will be on April 27th against Orlando City. It's a challenging schedule for The Reds as they aim to secure a spot in the Playoffs.
