Toronto FC's sports staff has confirmed the players who will not be available to participate in the match against FC Dallas on May 4.

The absence of Lorenzo Insigne remains a sensitive issue for The Reds, as despite his return to training, he is still not at 100% fitness, and it seems that the player will be available for the following week in May, hoping that for the MLS match between Toronto FC vs New York City on May 11, the Italian will be available.

These players will miss the match against FC Dallas:

  • Insigne - Thigh (1 week)
  • Larie - Thigh (4-6 weeks)
  • Rutty - Thigh (4 weeks)
  • O'Neill - Thigh (5 weeks)
  • Servania - Knee (mid-June/early July)

In search of 3 important points in the MLS, TFC will demonstrate, with the advantage of their home field, why they are in 4th place in the Eastern Conference, being a club with a significantly renewed mentality compared to last year.

The team and a great form

After 10 matches played in the MLS, TFC has gained a positive advantage over several teams vying for this season's playoffs. However, for The Reds, it seems like the ideal moment in this stretch of the season to secure victories in more important matches against opponents who, in comparison to them, are not currently in a positive moment in the MLS.

FC Dallas is one of those clubs that is currently in a negative moment and is only now beginning to recover during the tournament after their disastrous start in the MLS. Positioned second to last in the Western Conference, Dallas wants to get out of this danger zone, but they face an opponent who has been on fire in recent matches, where their figures Federico Bernardeschi and Prince Owusu will demonstrate why they are in 4th place in the Eastern Conference.

The match is scheduled for May 4 at BMO Field, where the Toronto fans expect to see a spectacle from their team, demonstrating what they are made of this season, competing in each match at the highest level demanded by the MLS.
