Comments from fans ranged from expressions of dissatisfaction, such as "Make Torontoβs home kit red again," and"Tired of all these pointless kits, we are a football club, not fashion FC," to more positive remarks acknowledging the design's merits, like "Better than last year's home 'red' jersey" and "Not flashy, but still pretty good."
Why is this a global kit? There is no connection on the kit β¦ you need a better story to share this narrative β¦

The new Toronto FC jersey features a simplified version of the club's logo, a departure from the previous design. While the new identity had been revealed in 2020, it had not made its way onto the team's jerseys until now.
I like how clean it is. I donβt understand the significance (similar to the community kit that was white and grey), the actual kit didnβt reflect the messaging. But putting that all aside, this is a 7.5/10 for me. Wish we could nuke the home kit as well

Interestingly, the new logo does not entirely replace the old one; rather, both versions coexist for the time being. Currently, the simplified version is being used on the new jerseys and across social media platforms, hinting at a potential gradual transition rather than an immediate change.
The unveiling of the new Toronto FC jersey marks a significant moment for the club and its fans, sparking debate and discussion about the direction of the team's branding. As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how fans' opinions evolve and whether the new design grows on them over time. What do you think of this new design that aims to reflect the unity and diversity in Toronto FC?
