The MLS will not issue fines to any team in the match between Toronto FC vs New York City FC

After witnessing one of the biggest fights after the match, several players from both teams were involved in fights, shoving, and grabbing that were violent acts for the MLS, but also, all of this would be due to poor refereeing.
All of this was severely detrimental to Toronto FC. While the loss of the game had already been a hard blow, the sanction at that time to some players missing the next game was a negative for TFC. But moreover, everything was detrimental to see those acts in this match that unleashed a surprising fury from the players.

The MLS verbally reprimands NYC FC and TFC
"The league conducted a review of both incidents and determined that the players and staff of both teams involved in the altercation showed a lack of judgment and had behaviors inconsistent with the values of the MLS."

In a statement issued by the MLS, it assured that there would be no further sanctions for any club, although for Toronto FC, the sanctions were applied instantly to the players who were involved in physical and verbal aggressions, missing the next match against Nashville (May 15).
"While no additional suspensions or fines have been issued, the head coaches and executives of both clubs were to meet with MLS Commissioner Don Garber to discuss the league's expectations for behavior and conduct."

With these words, the MLS informed that they reject all violent acts within the matches and they are not the values that have been imposed since the creation of the league, therefore, they only left a warning for both clubs, and continue to ensure to avoid these aggressions that have no place in sports matches.
