The 28-year-old American footballer, who joined during the transfer window that opened a month ago in MLS, has not yet fully settled into the team. Despite John Herdman giving him significant playing time.
Wingo seems to be struggling with his adaptation to both the team and the league. He has participated in a total of five matches for Toronto FC, but unfortunately, he has not yet appeared fully focused on the pitch.

Henry Wingo Against DC United
In Toronto FC's painful defeat against DC United, Henry Wingo's statistics were not the best. Unfortunately, the player still seems to be having a hard time adjusting to the team. Although he played the full 90 minutes and had around 70 touches of the ball with a 90% pass completion rate (completing 51 passes), which is a positive aspect in terms of his passing accuracy, Wingo made a costly error during the match.
This mistake led to a DC United goal, giving the rival team an advantage that proved to be a significant blow for Toronto FC. Additionally, Wingo won only 4 out of 9 ground duels, a rather weak statistic for a central defender. He also lost possession 16 times out of those 70 touches, leaving Toronto FC in a difficult position, as many of these turnovers occurred during the team's build-up play.
The hope is that Henry Wingo will gradually adapt both to the league and the team. MLS is a completely different environment compared to Hungary, where he previously played, and Toronto FC needs him at his best to compete in the upcoming matches and secure a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
