2. Deybi Flores

One of the best players on the field for Toronto FC this season is Flores, whose excellent work in midfield seems to have waned a bit. Both defensively and offensively, the lack of concentration has significantly harmed the team, and now, with the absence of Coello, a more attentive and active Deybi Flores is needed on the field.

His performance in recent games hasn't been entirely poor. However, we always expect much more from the Honduran, who also provides leadership in the midfield, where his defensive play needs to be solid, especially when TFC needs it the most.

1. Prince Owusu

After a dream start to the season, Prince Owusu has gradually faded, especially in terms of goal contributions in recent matches. Despite recovering from a muscle injury and readapting to the game, it’s crucial for him to regain his goal-scoring form.

The 27-year-old player hasn’t scored since Toronto FC’s 5-1 win against CF Montreal on May 18, having gone more than a month without a goal. This is a significant concern for TFC, but Owusu needs to work harder to contribute his part to the team as they look to improve their performance in this crucial part of the season.
